Nico Skolp is an Italian artist, designer and muralist born in Bari. Trained in Communication Design at IUAV in Venice, his career starts from <\/span>graffiti<\/span> and <\/span>post-graffiti<\/span> and evolves towards his own language based on geometric abstraction, grids and generative design processes. Nico Skolp’s work starts from a clear idea: building images through rules, shapes and variations. His compositions are not born from a single image, but from a system that allows him to generate multiple possibilities within the same visual language. Geometry, in his work, does not function as a rigid code, but as a flexible tool capable of adapting to different scales, supports and contexts. The project at BYPILLOW Gran Central (Padova)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

At BYPILLOW Grand Central, Nico Skolp has developed a comprehensive project conceived specifically for the hotel, both for its scale and for the history of the building that houses it. The proposal unfolds between rooms, common areas and lobby, and brings together more than 80 unpublished graphic works, as well as an original handmade piece for the entrance and a large paper mural in reception. More than a sum of works, the ensemble functions as a visual journey that accompanies the guest throughout the entire stay. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

One of the most unique aspects of the project is that on each floor the geometry adopts its own patterns, chromatic variations and rhythms. This decision introduces nuances within the same visual family and turns the proposal into a continuous experience, where each level has its own identity without losing coherence with the whole. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>

This language, built from a digital system capable of generating variations within the same visual logic, dialogues with the old Hotel Grand’Italia, a historic Liberty-style building facing Padua station. In this context, the work of <\/span><\/p>

Nico Skolp incorporates a contemporary visual layer that coexists with the architecture without blurring its character.<\/span> <\/span><\/p>

The result is a coherent and immersive proposal, where art, design and architecture coexist naturally. A project that does not act as an isolated gesture, but as a visual identity built floor by floor and piece by piece within a hotel with a strong historical identity. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
