Artistic Manifesto

For Belén Rubiales, mural art is a form of emotional intervention in a space. Each project begins with observing the surroundings and actively listening to the site, in order to propose a composition that complements, enhances, or softens the existing interior design. Her murals blend graphic design, painting, and architecture to create atmospheres that seek balance between the visual and the sensory. She aims for her works not merely to decorate, but to accompany—to establish a relationship with those who inhabit the space, bringing calm, rhythm, and character to the environment.

Belén Rubiales’s BYPILLOW La Sal Project (Cádiz)

At BYPILLOW La Sal, Belén Rubiales painted a series of large-scale acrylic murals for various common areas of the hotel. Inspired by the light and hues of the Cádiz landscape, she developed a composition of clean geometric forms and colors such as mustard, forest green, dusty pink, and terracotta. The work integrates seamlessly with the interior design of the space, adding warmth, serenity, and a contemporary touch. The murals not only serve as decorative elements but also create a cozy and elegant atmosphere that welcomes visitors with a unique visual identity.
