Artistic manifesto

For Belén Rubiales, mural art is a form of emotional intervention in space. Each project begins with observing the surroundings and actively listening to the space, in order to propose a design that complements, enhances, or softens the existing interior. His murals blend graphic design, painting, and architecture, creating atmospheres that strike a balance between the visual and the sensory. He wants his works to do more than just decorate; he wants them to be a source of comfort: to forge a connection with those who live there, and to bring calm, rhythm, and character to the space that houses them.

Belén Rubiales' project at BYPILLOW La Sal (Cádiz)

At BYPILLOW La Sal, Belén Rubiales has painted a series of large-scale acrylic murals for various common areas of the hotel. Inspired by the light and hues of the Cadiz landscape, she has created a composition featuring clean geometric shapes and colors such as mustard, forest green, dusty pink, and terracotta. The artwork blends seamlessly into the interior design of the space, adding warmth, serenity, and a contemporary touch. Los murales no solo actúan como elementos decorativos, sino que generan un ambiente acogedor y elegante, que da la bienvenida al visitante con una identidad visual propia.
